Added: New Status Categories

CastingAbout remains dedicated to providing accurate and timely information regarding who is working, what they are working on, and what upcoming projects are still pending during this time. We are in contact with casting offices, and will continue monitoring the situation as film, television and theater productions are affected.
You’ll notice that we’ve added a few new production status categories to our list of Active projects. And, as we continue to add new projects to CastingAbout, we’d like to update you on how to better understand what each category means. You can search for these categories by making your selection from the ACTIVE dropdown menu:

CASTING: Good news! Breakdowns are being released; virtual auditions are being scheduled.

PENDING: These are new projects that began casting prior to production being suspended for public health concerns. Although casting work continues in preparation for a near future start, exact date TBD.

SUSPENDED: These are projects that were in full production but have been suspended for public health concerns. Exact return date TBD.
